Jane.
Jane., a dance for seven empowered women set to a score of female Gregorian chant, explores various concepts surrounding feminist theory.
It emphasizes the importance of presence within performance as well as the use of facial expression. Jane. combines quirky gestures with
full-bodied dancing in an expression of the simple beauty within reality rather than perfection.

Aboutface
This collaborative performance is with Henry Stoll performing George Enescu's Violin Sonata No. 3 - 1st Movement. Aboutface explores the concept of performativity and what it means to incorporate facial expression into performance and how that "mask" manifests itself into the daily life of the performer/artist/human. It also deals with this concept of perpetual falling and resilinency. Several of the gestures echo movements from earlier cultures with a strong influence coming from Romanian folk dance, Kabuki theater, and Indian dance.
